I started picking up the stuff I wanted and when I was done I asked the store manager to prepare my bill, while I waited, two boys, most probably brothers because they kept calling each other 'Bha' which means Brother in Sindhi, entered the store. The eldest one was around 10 years old while the younger one must be 5 or maybe 6 years old. The eldest one wore a blue Shalwaar Kameez with dirt marks on it while the youngest one wore a pair of torn faded jeans and a shirt which missed buttons and was larger than the boy's actual size. During the extended Eid holidays, I forced Shahab to make a plan to visit Swat. On our way from Islamabad, we decided to make two stops: the Takht-i-Bai Buddhist Monastery, and finding the original Takht Bai chapli kababs. On the Peshawar-Islamabad motorway, we took the off ramp onto the Mardan interchange, then opened up Google Maps to guide us to Takht-i-Bai. The Buddhist Monastery here is first-century BC ear architecture. It's also one of UNESCO's heritage sites in the country. You reach the top of the monastery after climbing more than 500 steps. Saw the part where Master Shifu invites Po to sit down to a meal of dumplings after an intense kung fu training session. With each dumpling that Po attempts to put in his mouth, Master Shifu swiftly swipes them away with his chopsticks. One by one, as each dumpling is taken away from him, Master Shifu looks at Po challengingly, stating, 'You're free to eat' – provoking Po to fight for his right, in this case, a dumpling. The dumpling is a metaphor for Po's place in a world where he has consistently second-guessed himself, allowing an external perception of him – a big, goofy panda – to dictate the role he will play for the rest of his life.
