From the Blog cricnama جب 2009ء میں سری لنکا کی کرکٹ ٹیم پاکستان پہنچی تھی تو یہ ڈیڑھ سال کے عرصے میں کسی بھی ملک کا پہلا دورۂ پاکستان تھا۔ شاید ہی کسی کے وہم و گمان میں ہو کہ یہ آخری دورہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔ لاہور ٹیسٹ کے دوران جب دہشت گردوں نے سری لنکا کی کرکٹ ٹیم کو نشانہ بنایا تو اس کے ساتھ ہی ملک ميں بین الاقوامی کرکٹ کے امکانات ختم ہوگئے۔ اس وقت سے اب تک پاکستان کا 'ہوم گراؤنڈ' متحدہ عرب امارات کے میدان ہیں۔ 2010ء سے لے کر اب تک پاکستان یہاں کھیل رہا ہے، اور کیا خوب کھیل رہا ہے۔ پاکستان نے یہاں دنیا کی مایہ ناز ٹیموں کو شکست دی ہے، انگلستان اور آسٹریلیا کو کلین سویپ کیا ہے۔ لیکن کیا آپ جانتے ہیں پاکستان نے اپنی تاریخ کی بدترین شکست بھی عرب امارات ہی میں کھائی ہے؟ 11 ستمبر 2001ء کو امریکا میں ہونے والے حملوں کے بعد نئی عالمی سیاست نے پاکستان پر بہت برے اثرات ڈالے۔ اگلے سال نیوزی لینڈ کی ٹیم کے ہوٹلpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post

Creative Cravings: A Musician's Foodie Confessions
From the Blog cheflingtales There are times when I have to voluntarily trap myself in my studio to wait for inspiration, generate ideas, or to complete any existing project. During this time, inspiration and motivation are dependent on two things; colors and food. (Or was it colorful food?). I'm going to talk about my "musician cravings", peculiar to my creative process while I'm in the studio (or when I'm generally creating music).
