From the Blog cricnama بچپن کی خاص طور پر کرکٹ یادیں کتنی خوشگوار ہوتی ہیں؟ بلے بازی کرنے والی ٹیم کے کسی کھلاڑی کا امپائر بن جانا اور پھر اگر فیصلہ بیٹنگ کرنے والی ٹیم کے حق میں ہو تو مخالفین کا ناراض ہونا اور دھاندلی کا الزام لگانا، اور بالفرض محال اگر اپنی ہی ٹیم کے خلاف متنازع فیصلہ دے دے تو دوستوں کا خفا ہوجانا آخر کون بھول سکتا ہے؟ یا پھر کبھی سب دوست دو ٹیموں میں برابر تقسیم ہو جاتے اور ایک کھلاڑی اضافی رہ جاتا تو اسے امپائر بنا کر دونوں طرف سے بلے بازی کی شاہانہ سہولت دی جاتی تھی۔ ایسے میں امپائر کے فیصلے پانسہ پلٹنے میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرتے تھے۔ ایسا کچھ بین الاقوامی سطح پر تو کبھی نہیں دیکھا گیا لیکن بنگلہ دیش اور انگلستان کے پہلے ٹیسٹ میں جب معین علی کو پانچ بار نئی زندگی ملی تو بچپن یاد آ گیا کہ ہمارے خیال میں ایسا صرف گلی کرکٹ میں ہی ہو سکتا تھا۔ چٹاگانگ کے ظہور احمد چودھری اسٹیڈیم میں pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full PostComments

From the Blog pkhope There is no doubt that Pakistani media is brash, senseless, out of limits but even then this doesn't condone what we saw in Pakistan yesterday at a polling station during by-elections. Video of Security Guard Police Slap Female Reporter in Karachi is very shameful. One can argue that the female reporter was constantly at the back of police or FC security guard as they say, and the guard just flipped his lid at the end as he couldn't take it anymore as the lady reporter was chasing him and insulting him continuously. Some on social media say that she was after cheap publicity and she was inciting the guard and she was taking unfair advantage of being female.
