7 Satellite Centers Being Set Up in Sindh For Curing Complex Heart Diseases

From the Blog propakistani National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) is setting up seven satellite centers in different cities of the Sindh by 2018 end to undergo complex treatment of heart diseases of the masses. NICVD has achieved a milestone setting up a satellite centres in Larkana which has been functional since May 2017 and has been providing free cardiac emergency, primary PCI (angioplasty during heart attack) and pediatric cardiology services. Three more such centers are expected to be functional in Tando Muhammad Khan, Sehwan & Sukkur in 2017. On top of that, four more NICVD satellites in Nawabshah, Khairpur, Hyderabad and Mithi would be operational in the following year. Reboot

From the Blog ummeyusufI have been terribly remiss in updating this blog of late. It has been four months since I last posted here and for that, I apologize to my 1.5 readers, if they are still around. We have had summer vacation, two Eids, a couple of weddings and first-term exams during this time. My youngest also started preschool this month. Also, we got a pet parrot (Indian red-neck) during this time, only to lose it to a brief illness, a month later. It was heartbreaking. Now we have got a cockatiel and are keeping it under a strict watch, so that it does not ingest something whichit is not supposed to. In crafting news, I completed my 100-day hand lettering challenge on instagram, which was a lot of fun. I also continued trying out new crafts, like I mentioned in the previous post. PTA Allowed to Offer Pakistani Telcos to Conduct 5G Trials

From the Blog propakistani Federal Cabinet today approved the issuance of Policy Directive to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) under Section 8 of the PTA (Re-Organization) Act, 1996 to enable testing of 5G technology in Pakistan while remaining within the regulatory environment. Decision was taken in a meeting that held today under the headship of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at the Prime Minister's Office in Islamabad. After this approval, PTA is going to make a framework and allow Pakistani operators to test 5G in Pakistan before its commercially auctioned in the country. It must be noted that operators must not commercially charge for 5G services during the tests. Welcoming Chaaye Khana In Multan

From the Blog cheflingtales There is nothing close to the hearts of us Pakistanis more than the word "chaaye". Our day begins and most probably ends with a perfect cup of chaaye. To be honest, there is no proper restaurant to have a comforting chaaye nashta . Lots of restaurants do offer it, but something always remains missing. Hence, the local dhabas were the only option Multanis were left with, until Chaaye Khana opened it's doors for Multanis. It's branch has been opened in Multan's hub of restaurants, the ultimate love of foodies, Gulghast. Chaaye Khana has received lots of love across the country, particularly in the capital, and Lahore has become the demand of foodies of every city to have one in their own district as well. One in Four Computers in Pakistan are Attacked by Malware: Microsoft
