From the Blog sakibahmad During the days leading up to Thursday, 7 May, the mainstream media bombarded the poor electorate with stark warnings of a hung Parliament and a minority government, either Tory or New Labour (Old Labour having died a painful death when the unspeakable Tony Blair made his pact with the media moguls and Big Business way back before his 1997 landslide victory). Increasingly, the hapless Ed Miliband, not accepted as genuine New Labour by BigBiz and media moguls, was emerging as a figure of fun in the media which was kinder towards Cameron. During those days Cameron's habitual poker faced expression metamorphosed into a passionate Churchillian one as he delivered speeches with arms flailing and his body language on fire. شرم و حیاء کیا ہوتی ہے
From the Blog theajmals عمران اقبال صاحب کے بلاگ پر "کوئی شرم ہوتی ہے کوئی حیاء ہوتی ہے" کے عنوان سے مانو بلی کے نام سے ایک مضمون لکھا گیا ۔ میں عمران اقبال صاحب سے معذرت خواہ ہوں کہ اُن کی مہمان لکھاری کی معلومات پر اعتراض کی جسارت کر رہا ہوں ۔ اگر عُمر میں لکھاری محترمہ مجھ سے بڑھی ہیں تو اُن سے بھی معذرت ۔ مجھے لکھنے کی جراءت محترمہ کی تحریر کے آخر میں مرقوم اِس "*نوٹ*" سے ہوئی ۔ ۔ ۔ " *اگر کسی دوست کو اختلاف ہو یا ذہن میں کوئی سوال آئے تو میں جواب دینے کیلئے حاضر ہوں ۔ اگر میں نے کہیں کوئی واقعہ مسخ کرکے لکھا ہو تو نشاندہی ضرور کیجیئے گ* ا"۔ محترمہ نے دعوٰی کیا ہے ۔ ۔ ۔ " *اتنا دعوی ضرور کرتی ہوں کہ جو تاریخی حقائق بیان کرونگی من و عن کرونگی*"۔ محترمہ شاید بے پَر کے اُڑتی خبروں سے محسور ہو گئی ہیں اور پاکستان کی تاریخ کا علم بھی کم عُمری کے باعث کم ہی رکھتی ہیں قارئین اور بالخصوص محترمہ کے عِلم کیpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
