Photo of the Day: Border Skirmishes between Pakistan & India intensifies
From the Blog pakteahouse Malik Omaid Despite a ceasefire accord in 2003, border skirmishes at LoC between Pakistan and India has become a common news. Every time the news breaks, both sides accuse other for initiating “unprovoked” firing on the border. No accountability afterwards and no fact finding ever done public to tell what really happened. Nor there is neutral *“modus operandi” *by which we can confirm that who is the “culprit” neither any of the sides actually want such neutral umpire to observe. Lots of innocent lives have been wasted in this bull fighting between the two countries. Normal reaction is to accuse, condemn and move forward. 9 people have been already killed in fresh cross border firing. Last year it took the lives of 37 people including 22 soldiers from both sides.
