Zaka out, Najam Sethi in - Supreme Court ordered
From the Blog enAfter the nightmare like tenure of Ijaz Butt, Zaka Ashraf became chairman PCB on 27th October 2011 and until 8th May 2013, he remained on his post without any problem, but when he became the first elected chairman of PCB on that day things started to get wrong. Election procedure was criticised and issue went to the court. On May 28th last year, court suspended Zaka Ashraf from the post and ordered new elections. Government made Najam Sethi interim chairman PCB in June last year but again court intervened in October. Government announced another interim committee for operations and appointed Najam Sethi as its head once again. This year in January, Islamabad high court restored Zaka Ashraf on his post, but before he could complete his first month Prime Minister sacked him with expakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
