Let's Talk About The Talks

From the Blog aikbaat Much has been made of the ongoing "peace talks" with people taking all sorts of stances. From out rightly supporting the talks to calling them a betrayal, one has heard every possible statement within the last couple of weeks. Personally I believe the talks are a joke and nothing more than a smoke screen. From where I stand, the talks are a charade to achieve political goals that could have been achieved in at least three other ways. That being said, I do want peace but I realize that peace is not going to come by having pretend negotiations with a proxy. Thing about these talks is not that they are wrong. By that I do not mean the idea of peace talks is a bad one, Peace talks are never a bad idea if there is a serious chance of peace.
