A Few Question on the Drone Strikes

From the Blog pakteahouse By Asifa Ali Undoubtedly, drone attacks that impinge on our sovereignty are condemnable and damaging as they generate sympathy for the militants and breed more. It is also a fact that USA is continuing drone attacks as they serve two purposes; eliminate militant leaders not serving their interests and Pakistan faces the backlash. All this is known and discussed unabated on media. What, we fail to, however, discuss is answers to the following:- TTP has claimed responsibility for killing over 40000 Pakistani civilians / soldiers. They have also claimed responsibility for destroying military assets and, causing aspersions worldwide on Pakistan's ability to defend its strategic assets. From the Blog cricnamaجنوبی افریقہ کے خلاف کراری شکست نے پاکستان کرکٹ کی چولیں ہلا کر رکھ دی ہیں۔ ہیڈ کوچ کے عہدے کا تو خاتمہ ہوا ہی ساتھ میں قائد کی کپتانی بھی خطرے میں پڑ گئی ہے لیکن مصباح اپنی جگہ ڈٹے ہوئے ہیں، جن کا کہنا ہے کہ انہیں قیادت سے نہیں ہٹایا جا رہا۔ وطن واپس آنے کے بعد قذافی اسٹیڈیم، لاہور میں ذرائع ابلاغ کے نمائندوں سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے مصباح کاکہنا تھا کہ جب تک کرکٹ کھیل رہا ہوں، لڑتا رہوں گا اور بھاگنے کا کوئی ارادہ نہیں۔ مصباح الحق نے کہا کہ وہ تنہا میدان میں لڑتے ہیں اور کارکردگی بھی دکھاتے ہیں، اگر ایسی کارکردگی کے بعد بھی کوئی مجھے گیدڑ کہہ رہا ہے تو مجھے منظور ہے، میں گیدڑ ہی بھلا، کم ا زکم شیروں کی طرح کارکردگی تو دکھا رہا ہوں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کون گیدڑ ہے اور کون شیر؟ عوام جانتے ہیں اور کسی کے کہنے سے کچھ نہیں ہوتا، اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے عزت دیتا ہے۔ ٹیسٹ اور ون ڈے ٹیم کے کپتان نے کہpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full PostComments
