Punjab Police Wants to Drastically Reduce Check Posts in the Province

From the Blog propakistani The Punjab Police, in an interesting step, has vowed to implement a policy of 'no check posts' apart from inter-provincial and inter-district ones. Pakistan's biggest police force is hoping to use technology for observation and checking of criminals rather than the conventional manual method. Arif Nawaz Khan, Punjab Inspector General of Police on Tuesday at Central Police Office (CPO) while leading a high-level meeting issued directives to rollback all check posts and also directed the timely implementation of new SOPs for the monitoring of vehicles and citizens. He added that CCTV cameras should be used for monitoring purposes instead of police barriers and check posts, and police officers should engage in operational activities not standing at check posts. From the Blog seems77 ↭کہاوت کہانی ↭ عربی کہاوت ہے ، "اکثر باتیں کہنے والے کو کہتی ہیں ، ہمیں مت کہو''۔ مطلب یہ کہ جو بات غیر ضروری طور پر کی جائے وہ اپنے گلے آجاتی ہے۔ اس کہاوت سے جڑی حکایت ہے کہ کوئی بادشاہ ایک ٹیلے پر اپنے غلام اور وزیر کے ساتھ کھڑا تھا۔ غلام مسلسل ٹیلے کی ڈھلوان کو دیکھتا جارہا تھا۔ بادشاہ نے اس کی محویت دیکھی تو پوچھا ،" کیا دیکھتا ہے"۔ غلام نے فوراً بات بنائی اور کہا، "بادشاہ سلامت میں سوچ رہا ہوں کہ اس ڈھلوان پر اگر کسی کو ذبح کیا جائے تو اس کا خون کہاں تک جائے گا''۔ بادشاہ سلامت کو یہ نکتہ اتنا پسند آیا کہ انہوں نے فوری طورپر جلّاد کو حکم دیا کہ نکتہ سنج غلام کو اسی ڈھلوان پر ذبح کرکے دیکھے کہ اس کا خون کہاں تک بہتا ہے۔ ظاہر ہے جلّاد نے آقا کا حکم بجا لانا تھا؛ البتہ اس نے غلام کواس کی گردن کاٹنے سے پہلے اتنا ضرور سمجھا دیا کہ بہت سی باتیں کہنے کی نہیں ہوتیں۔ تبصرہ کرpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full PostComments
