From the Blog theajmals ہندوستان کی مودی سرکار کی نئی جارحیت اور پاک بھارت سرحد پر کشیدگی کے تناظر میں گزشتہ دنوں جموں و کشمیر کے حالات سے آگاہی کے لئے متعلقہ لوگوں سے براہ راست مکالمے کا قصد کیا۔ مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر تو جا نہیں سکتے اس لئے آزاد کشمیر جانے کا پروگرام بنایا۔ یہاں بچوں سے بھی بات چیت ہوئی، جوانوں سے بھی، بوڑھوں سے بھی اور دنیا کے اس حسین ترین علاقے کے حسین نظاروں کا لطف بھی اٹھایا۔ اس پورے سفر میں جو کچھ دیکھا اور سنا، اس کا خلاصہ یہاں بیان کرنا اس لئے ضروری سمجھتا ہوں کہ مظفرآباد اور وادی نیلم دونوں جگہ وکلا اور صحافی بھائیوں سے وعدہ کیا تھا کہ میں ان کے احساسات اپنی استطاعت کے مطابق دنیا تک پہنچانے کی کوشش کروں گا۔ پہلی چیز جو میں نے محسوس کی وہ آزاد جموں و کشمیر کے باسیوں اور بالخصوص نوجوانوں میں ایک عجیب قسم کی بے چینی اور اضطراب تھا۔ ہم پاکستانی بھی مقبوضہ کشمیر کے حالات پر پریشpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
Post # 24 - The Twins start school
From the Blog beanbagtalesThe twins have started school this month and at times I feel I'm the one going to school with them. Not that I was a late riser before the twins were born and since having them, early mornings have become a norm but getting to school on time is a whole different pressure. Especially with toddlers who have no concept of time and are indifferent to the fact that instead of playing with their toys or going through their books, they need to get ready for school. I was a bit scared about school. I wasn't sure how I felt about sending the twins away for a couple of hours and leaving them in a new place with well, strangers.
