Financial Inclusion Strategy to Generate 3 Million Jobs by 2023
From the Blog propakistani The government has set a target of generating at least three million new jobs by 2023 under the National Finance Inclusion Strategy (NFIS). Another target set out in the NFIS is additional exports of $5.5 billion in five years. According to the Ministry of Finance, the NFIS will increase the use of digital payments leading to 65 million active digital transaction accounts. The NFIS also includes increasing agricultural finance disbursements to Rs.1.8 trillion.
