From the Blog theajmals سورة 41 سورة حٰمٓ السجدة / فُصّلَت آیت 34 و 35 وَلَا تَسۡتَوِى الۡحَسَنَةُ وَ لَا السَّيِّئَةُ ؕ اِدۡفَعۡ بِالَّتِىۡ هِىَ اَحۡسَنُ فَاِذَا الَّذِىۡ بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَهٗ عَدَاوَةٌ كَاَنَّهٗ وَلِىٌّ حَمِيۡمٌ وَمَا يُلَقّٰٮهَاۤ اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ صَبَرُوۡا‌ۚ وَمَا يُلَقّٰٮهَاۤ اِلَّا ذُوۡ حَظٍّ عَظِيۡمٍ‏ اور اے نبیؐ، نیکی اور بدی یکساں نہیں ہیں تم بدی کو اُس نیکی سے دفع کرو جو بہترین ہو تم دیکھو گے کہ تمہارے ساتھ جس کی عداوت پڑی ہوئی تھی وہ جگری دوست بن گیا ہے یہ صفت نصیب نہیں ہوتی مگر اُن لوگوں کو جو صبر کرتے ہیں، اور یہ مقام حاصل نہیں ہوتا مگر اُن لوگوں کو جو بڑے نصیبے والے ہیں pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full PostComments

Silicon Valley Pakistani-Americans Celebrate Candidates' Election Wins

From the Blog riazhaqLast Saturday, Pakistani-American community joined Javed Ellahie and Sabina Zafar in celebrating their recent election victories in city council elections in San Francisco Bay Area which includes Silicon Valley. Ellahie has been elected to Monte Sereno City Council while Sabina Zafar won a seat on San Ramon City Council in November 2018 elections. The event was organized by American Pakistani Political Action Committee (APPAC) at Fremont Marriott. Dr. Naveed Sherwani who is a prominent Pakistani-American tech entrepreneur and NED University alumnus from Karachi, served as the master of ceremonies. Speeches by Ellahie, Zafar and several other local elected officials, including Fremont Mayor Lily Mei and Santa Clara County Supervisor Dave Cortese, were followed by dinner.
