پاپ کورن کی خوشبو
From the Blog ranaii-e-khayal ابھی میں مغرب پڑھ کر مسجد سے نکلا ہی تھا کہ چند قدم چلنے کے بعد پاپ کورن کی بھینی بھینی خوشبو آنے لگی۔ پاپ کورن چاہے آپ کو کھانے میں اتنے اچھے نہ لگیں لیکن اس کی خوشبو ایسی ہوتی ہے کہ یہ دور سے ہی آپ کو اپنی طرف کھینچتی ہے یا شاید ہر اچھی خوشبو کا یہی حال ہوتا ہے۔ میں کچھ کھانے پینے کے موڈ میں تو نہیں تھا لیکن پھر بھی بے اختیار پاپ کورن والے کے پاس پہنچ گیا۔ میں نے دس روپے نکال کر اُس کی طرف بڑھائے تو مجھے خیال آیا کہ شاید یہ پاپ کارن والا کہے کہ بھائی کم از کم بیس روپے کے لو۔ لیکن اُس نے ایسا کچھ نہیں کہا اور ایک کاغذ کا لفافہ نکال کر اُس میں پاپ کورن ڈالنے لگا۔ لفافہ زیادہ چھوٹا نہیں تھا بلکہ دس روپے کے اعتبار سے کافی مناسب ہی تھا۔ اُس نے دو تین بار لفافے میں پاپ کورن ٹُھونسنے کی کوشش کی اور اُوپر تک بھرنے لگا۔ مجھے حیرت ہوئی کہ آج کل تو لوگ کوشش کرتے ہیں کہ بس پیسے لے لیں اpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post

You might think he's either being dismissive, or, that he thinks your questions are rather stupid. Seated behind a large desk at his 3-storey studio, Majeed is reticent without being discourteous. His vibe is of a man who doesn't have time for casual banter, he'd rather be in the studio – listening to, and making music. Framed images of the great legends of jazz line the walls as you walk up the stairs to his office at the Sachal Studios (the name of Majeed's studio was inspired by the great Sufi poet Sachal Sarmast, from Sindh, Pakistan).
