In South Asia, a balance of power exists as both India, and Pakistan have not rectified several accords. These include CTBT, Non -proliferation treaty, and with this status, both countries cannot be a part of NSG. However, it is in the monopoly of a few to give waivers but surprisingly, NSG was formed in reaction to Indian Nuclear testing 1974. It had the mandate of developing a group with non -proliferation status plus to advocate for establishment of Nuclear weapons free zone in every bit of this world.
