From the Blog cricnama ایک روزہ اور ٹی ٹوئنٹی کی بڑھتی ہوئی مقبولیت کے سامنے ٹیسٹ کو 'مقابلے کی دوڑ' میں برقرار رکھنے کے لیے ٹیسٹ کرکٹ کو دو ڈویژنز میں تقسیم کرنے کا مشورہ پیش کیا گیا تھا تاکہ باہمی مقابلوں میں دلچسپی کا عنصر بڑھ سکے لیکن خدشہ یہ ہے کہ 6 ستمبر کو بین الاقوامی کرکٹ کونسل کے اجلاس میں بھارت سمیت پانچ ممالک اس تجویز کو مسترد کردیں گے۔ رواں سال کے آغاز میں پیش کردہ اس تجویز کا مقصد ٹیسٹ کرکٹ میں عوام کی دلچسپی کو دوبارہ بحال کرنا تھا۔ تجویز کردہ قوانین کے مطابق 10 ٹیسٹ ٹیموں میں سے اولین 7 ٹیموں پہلے ڈویژن میں ہوں گی جبکہ باقی تین ٹیموں کو نچلے ڈویژن میں مقابلے کرنے ہوں گے۔ دوسرے ڈویژن کی سرفہرست ٹیم کی اگلے ڈویژن میں ترقی اور اسی طرح پہلے ڈویژن کی نچلی ٹیم کی پچھلے میں تنزلی ہوگی۔ بھارت کے علاوہ پاکستان، سری لنکا، ویسٹ انڈیز، زمبابوے اور بنگلہ دیش تجویز کے خلاف ہيں جبکہ آسٹریلیا، جنوpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
