Okara Ki Kulfi: Pure Delight from Delhi Sweets
From the Blog cheflingtales The thing I love the most about being an army wife is the diverse culture of Pakistan I get to see every two years. It can be really hectic, that's true, but once I'm settled I get to explore the city and it's lovely, lovely food. So when we were posted to Okara, the first thing that came to my mind was, "Yeah, the kids are gonna get pure organic milk". Most of you may not know this, but the city of Okara is the country's hub for fresh, pure and organic dairy produce. There are huge military farms here that collect and distribute milk, butter and cheese all over Pakistan. What I didn't know was that Okara is also famous for it's special kulfi.
