14 August: Pakistan's Independence Day
From the Blog the-emo-wolverine-writesI'm writing this on 14th August but it'll be published on the 15th while I'm actually talking about the 11th. It's a little confusing, right? I'll try to make it a little easier. 11 August, a Thursday, was the day my college decided to celebrate Independence Day in the institution. Everyone was given the memo to wear green today. There would be a bake sale and a concert for charity. Oh, and there would be lots of balloons and flags and stuff. Here's what happened that day, in a nutshell. I wore a green abaya with a green scarf. Amee commented on it in the morning "Why're you wearing green?" "Everyone's wearing green, Amee.
