From the Blog cricnama صرف دو دن پہلے لینڈل سیمنز سات سمندر پار گھر بیٹھے ویسٹ انڈیز کی کارکردگی سے لطف اندوز ہو رہے تھے کہ انہیں اچانک خبر ملی کہ آندرے فلیچر کے زخمی ہونے کی وجہ سے انہیں ورلڈ ٹی ٹوئنٹی میں فوراً طلب کیا گیا ہے۔ فلیچر کا زخمی ہونا ویسٹ انڈیز کے لیے اچھی خبر نہیں تھی۔ بہرحال، سیمنز سرپٹ دوڑے اور طویل سفر کے بعد بھارت پہنچے جہاں ان کا پہلا مقابلہ ہی سیمی فائنل تھا وہ بھی میزبان کے خلاف۔ گزشتہ اتوار کو جب ویسٹ انڈیز کی سلیکشن کمیٹی کے سربراہ کلائیو لائیڈ نے سیمنز سے رابطہ کیا اور فٹنس کے بارے میں پوچھا اور بتایا کہ انہیں بھارت کے خلاف سیمی فائنل کھیلنا ہوگا تو سیمنز نے لمحے بھر کو بھی نہ سوچا اور کہا کہ وہ مکمل طور پر تیار ہیں۔ دو پروازیں لینے اور طویل اور تھکا دینے والے سفر کے بعد منگل کو وہ ممبئی پہنچے اور آرام کے بجائے فوراً مشقوں کا آغاز کردیا۔ یہی وجہ تھی کہ بھارت کے خلاف سیمی فاpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
