Lorde Inspired Look
From the Blog noorsplaceI am a music junkie, that's not quite a secret. But I am on my way of becoming a make up junkie, too. Which may surprise some people, since I used to be a tomboy in early kid-hood days. Today's post is all about mixing these two passions of mine. Maham, Areeba and I came up with a plan to recreate looks from our favorite celebrities. The first one we chose is Lorde. I LOVE her music. She's a young singer but still, an amazing one. I am humming Royals as I write this post. Lorde always has mysterious colored lipsticks on, with her hair beautifully done. I brainstormed for a while and ended up working on Lorde's look of The Hunger Games' Mockingjay premiere. I had never worn red lipstick before. Mainly because it was too fancy for me. YAY! So, in order to celebrate my birthday that recently passed amidst exams, I took my friends out today for a little treat. We went for breakfast to Dera at Boat Basin since we all had been craving the infamous Chicken Cheese Paratha and basically a hang out like old times. Following our meal, we headed to the sea view to soak the sun and water our Karachi beach has to offer.
