From the Blog cricnamaپاکستان کے تیز گیندباز سہیل خان پہلی بار ٹیم کا مستقل حصہ بننے جا رہے تھے کہ کمر کی تکلیف نے انہیں آنے والے دورۂ بنگلہ دیش سے باہر کردیا۔ ان کی جگہ پاکستان نے جنید خان کو ایک روزہ دستے میں شامل کردیا ہے جو پہلے ہی ٹیسٹ اور ٹی ٹوئنٹی مرحلے کے لیے منتخب کیے جا چکے ہیں۔ سہیل خان نے عالمی کپ میں پاکستان کی جانب سے بہت عمدہ گیندبازی کروائی تھی اور بھارت کے خلاف مقابلے میں پانچ وکٹیں حاصل کیں اور پھر جنوبی افریقہ کے اہم بلے باز ابراہم ڈی ولیئرز کی وکٹ کے ذریعے پاکستان کو کامیابی بھی بخشی۔ لیکن دورۂ بنگلہ دیش کے لیے تربیتی کیمپ کے دوران زخمی ہوگئے ہیں۔ ابتدائی تجزیے اور طبی جانچ کے بعد انہیں کم از کم دو ہفتے آرام کا مشورہ دیا گیا ہے۔ جنید خان مختلف وجوہات کی بناء پر کافی عرصے سے قومی کرکٹ ٹیم سے باہر ہیں۔ اپنی تمام تر صلاحیتوں اور خوبیوں کے باوجود وہ ہمہ وقت فٹ رہنے میں ناکام رہے ہیں اوpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post

One can only lament at the foolish blunder of Nawaz Sharif for bringing in the Saudi-Yemen issue to the parliament and convening a joint session. There was no need for it. It was straight forward matter. Pakistan should have joined Saudi Arabia on the first day. Period. But to keep media happy and to prove that he is a democrat, Nawaz Sharif brought the matter to parliament where it was messed up.
