Why ban pillion riding?
From the Blog pkhope The Sindh government's latest effort and strategy to ostensibly curb rising street crimes and targeted killings in Karachi comes in the form of a ban on pillion riding. Following an attack on a polio team in Karachi the Sindh government has yet again imposed a three-day ban on pillion riding from Jan 27, 2015 (Tuesday) to Jan 29, 2015(Thursday). This is the second time in two weeks that the Sindh government has enforced a 3-day ban on pillion riding. Important to mention that (if my memory serves me correctly) killings in the city did not stop in the metropolitan despite the ban on pillion riding for most part of the years 2009 & 2010.
