Pakistan, Reading Culture and Other Travesties
From the Blog iamzeeshanPakistan doesn't *prefer*reading. Pakistan has other important things to do, of course. Reading is way down the list. That’s all. I see shopping malls, large markets filled with people. I see other such *commercial* places filled with huge crowds too. But how about bookshops? Libraries? Reading halls? Well… I think you can imagine. What has led us to this state? I am not a researcher, and haven’t spent enough time to analyze the patterns, the causes and the effects.
