From the Blog aishaq7 [image: Sprite_bottle] As my short stay in Pakistan draws to a close and with it a week full of traditional Pakistani weddings, I find myself veering once again into the dangerous and controversial discussion on marriage. This week bore witness to a number of weddings. The three main ones are as follows - 1. young best friend’s marriage; 2. best friend’s brother’s marriage; 3. someone’s second marriage. Bear in mind, please, that amongst the furore of these weddings was the incessant murmur of my ageing grandparents relating to how they want me to get married prrrretttty soon (more on that later). As I attended these colourful functions (which weren’t too colourful when the lights went out at 10 PM every night, as per government regulations), sat next to people wishing the pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
