A Trip to Attabad Lake
From the Blog pakteahouse *By Muhammad Usman* On a recent group trip from Islamabad to Hunza in the month of July, I had the opportunity to see the Attabad Lake. The Attabad lake, otherwise known as the Gojal lake, was formed in 2010 due to a massive landslide at Attabad village in Gilgit-Baltistan, blocking the flow of the Hunza River for several months, and inundating certain parts of the Karakoram Highway. In Lahore growing up, I’ve always found society to be very repressed, but over the past few years it has certainly become much better. When my mother was a youpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
