Margalla Hike - 2014-08-25
From the Blog qadeerahmadjanjuaI did my first proper mountain hike in Margalla on 25th August 2014. I started on Trail 5 with my friends but lost the trail after 2 hours and wandered for 3 more hours in the mountains without knowing the way out of that thick jungle. All photos are in 2592 X 1944 resolution, so please click on the image to see original size. We left our place at 05:00 right after the Fajr prayer. Got a taxi who charged three times more than what should have been; the usual Islamabad taxi driver excuse that there car is on Petrol. I wonder if their taxis consume a litre of gasoline per foot :-/ We had to leave the taxi a hundred meters before the parking of Trail 5 because there was a barrier due to the on going Sit-In. There were many police men and vehicles standing nearby but no one pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
