20 million rupees vs a Cyclone
From the Blog dholsipahi *Chief Minister of Sindh orders release of 20 million aid to help relief people hit by Cyclone phet. * This news interested me, obviously for sarcastic reasons since countless websites published it and almost every news channel ran it too. A news break to show a Politician Ordering 2o million aid for thousands and thousand of people who lost lives, homes and cattle, Lost everything. [image: CM sindh - Qaim Ali Shah] 20 million = 2 crore rupees = $200,000. This is what you get for 20 million. One house, Not in a very decent spot though. Who am I kidding – You how much 2 crore is and how much value it has now a days. Still that is some money which may bring a little (way little) productivity to tide-hit people. So that's Ok with me.
