Era of Fazal's leadership started with success
From the Blog enPakistan won last test match of the series played in West Indies, with that victory Pakistan became a test team who have defeated all other test playing nations at least in one test match. This was the end of Captain Abdul Hafiz Kardar’s career. Kardar was an average player but still he led the team remarkably. Under his leadership, Pakistan Cricket earned respect, honour, and dignity, and it was enough for him to be respected as a great leader. In those four years, Pakistan won Test match against England, Australia, New Zealand, India, and West indies. In such short amount of time, it was an exemplary performance. Where Team India had to wait 20 years to experience first test victory Pakistan won against all teams with in four years.
