World T20 2014 - South Africa through to semis as England eliminated
From the Blog en South Africa earned their place in the semi-finals of World T20 2014 with a three-run victory over England in another thrilling match on Saturday. South Africa bowled clinically to restrict England to 193-7 against a target of 197. Wayne Parnell took three wickets off 31 runs while Imran Tahir claimed 2-27 to hurt England's chase. Parnell dismissed Michael Lumb (18) who, with Alex Hales, provided England a quick start in pursuit of a massive chase. Parnell also chucked off Hales, who rescued England against Sri Lanka in their match from almost the same situation, and Moeen Ali (10) in back-to-back deliveries to stop England's progress.
