Yes, its been a long break between fall and spring semesters and ive had a lot of time to indulge myself in the wonderful, magical, albeit fictional but spectacular world of anime and manga. Id say, during the holidays i became an otaku in the Japanese sense of the word, as in my face never saw the light of the sun during this period nor did i 'mingle with my peers' outside of those that exist in the virtual realm. I think it is safe to assume that this has been the most fun ive had in a boring way since i attended a class that had a gassy instructor trying her best not to fart loudly during the lecture. From the Blog allurebyn A few days ago my girls and I visited Roohy's for our usual mani pedis. The spa is located near the Chinese Embassy in Clifton and is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby traffic, making it the perfect place for a relaxing short getaway. I must say I was really impressed with the spa. They had separate areas for hair, manis pedis and other services. The chairs for the manis and pedis were quite high ( the only downside for someone as short as I) but the pedicure basin actually turned into a jaccuzi which was amazing! My favorite part though was the hair wash basins. The chair turned into a reclining massage chair - Bliss at its finest! I opted to have my gel nails done while my friends had manis and pedis.
