Welcome Reception for Hajis by Community Leaders in Riyadh
From the Blog pkhope It is a tradition of Pakistanis to bid farewell to the Hajis (Hujj Pilgrims) and then host a post-Hajj welcome reception in their honor. Keeping with this tradition there were two such post-Hajj receptions for Hajis in Riyadh. One was hosted by Dr. Riaz Khawaja – a well known physician and a noted personality in the social circles of Riyadh. The other such reception was hosted by Choudhry Faryad Ahmed – a noted businessman and a philanthropist in Riyadh. On both of these occasions the Pakistani Ambassador H.E Muhammad Naeem Khan was the Chief Guest. Ambassador Khan also performed Hujj this year and accompanied the President of Pakistan – Mr. Mamnoon Hussain – during this Hujj.
