Aslan discussed his portrayal of Jesus as a historical figure and revolutionary insurrectionist against Roman authority rather than as a sacred figure. He also addressed the perils of discussing religion from a scholarly standpoint, his personal faith, and the challenges faced by a scholar who writes for a popular audience. From the Blog cricnamaآج پاکستانی ٹیم میں ایسے کئی کھلاڑی کھیل رہے ہیں جو اگر 90ء کے عشرے میں ہوتے تو شاید پاکستانی ٹیم کے قریب بھی نہ پھٹک سکتے کیونکہ دو عشرے قبل پاکستان کو ڈومیسٹک کرکٹ سے اتنا ٹیلنٹ مل رہا تھا کہ ذرا سی خراب کارکردگی کسی کھلاڑی کو ٹیم سے باہر کروادیتی تھی کیونکہ اس کی جگہ لینے کیلئے بیک اَپ میں کئی کھلاڑی موجود ہوتے تھے مگر آج کی کرکٹ میں اوسط درجے کے کھلاڑی اس لیے پاکستانی ٹیم میں کھیل رہے ہیں کہ پاکستان کرکٹ میں صلاحیت کا کال پڑ چکا ہے اور بیک اَپ میں ایسے کھلاڑی موجود نہیں ہے جو موجودہ کھلاڑیوں سے بہتر ہوں اس لیے مجبوری کے عالم میں اوسط درجے کی کارکردگی کے حامل کھلاڑیوں پر ہی بھروسہ کرنا پڑ رہا ہے۔ پاکستان کرکٹ میں صلاحیت کا قحط ڈومیسٹک کرکٹ کے ایک مربوط نظام نہ ہونے کے باعث پڑا ہے اور ہر سال ڈومیسٹک سیزن میں ہونے والی تبدیلیاں پاکستان کرکٹ کو پیچھے لے کر جارہی ہیں ۔پچھلے دس پpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
Tasawwuf

In the introduction he mentions all the various definitions of Tasawwuf by the masters of this path and concludes, 'In view of all these various definitions by the people of the path it is known that Tasawwuf is the purification of the lower self (from all that is impermissible) and acquisition of (good) morals characteristics.' Quran and Tasawwuf, page 14 People nowadays confuse Tasawwuf with special methods of remembrance, meditations, particular garments, dancing, trance and celebrations, etc..
