Afterthoughts on Malala: Love her or Hate her?
From the Blog borderlinegreen Almost all the columns this week anticipating the outcome for the Nobel Peace Prize started with giving a decent background coupled with beautiful adjectives about who Malala was and what she has come to be for Pakistan and the world. I think this is the right time to finally pen down my opinion on the most talked about girl of the 21st century; now that everyone has let off their steam, argued and frothed at the mouths either because they love Malala or otherwise. As Pakistanis we have become accustomed and perhaps also hungry for the limelight that is often bestowed upon us by the Western media for the past 13 years, post 9/11 to be exact.
