The B**ches strike back
From the Blog mehmudahrehman Ok, first things first. A rant is a rant (my last blog was a rant) and may not be taken in the literal sense. This one however is (hopefully) a level-headed blog, and I hope to write something worthwhile, Insha Allah. I had no business judging anyone or calling them bitches. My bad. Sorry. Mean it. Mostly 'cause at many points in life, I've been a completely unbearable, unpalatable human being, who would, in anyone's book, qualify as "the biatch" so it all goes horribly wrong when I start sounding holier-than-thou and like I'm some kind of saint. I was mad, and I was hurt. So the blog was a way of therapy, get it? That doesn't make it right, though. From the Blog cricnamaپاکستان کی موجودہ کرکٹ ٹیم میں صرف ایک کھلاڑی ایسا ہے جو خبروں میں رہنے کا ہنر جانتا ہے۔ چاہے وہ ٹیم میں شامل ہو کر حریف کھلاڑیوں کے چھکے چھڑائے، یا باؤلنگ کراتے ہوئے مشق ستم بنا ہوا ہو، یا پھر ٹیم میں ہی شامل نہ ہو، اس کے باوجود وہ ٹیم میں شامل تمام کھلاڑیوں سے زیادہ خبروں کی زد میں رہتا ہے۔ آپ سمجھ گئے ہوں گے، شاہد خان آفریدی! پاکستان میں ان کی مقبولیت کسی سے ڈھکی چھپی نہیں اور یہی وجہ ہے کہ ان کی ٹیم میں شمولیت و عدم شمولیت کے معاملات سیاسی میدانوں تک میں پہنچ جاتے ہیں۔ 2011ء میں دورۂ ویسٹ انڈیز میں اس وقت کے کوچ وقار یونس سے اختلافات کے بعد انہوں نے احتجاجاً ریٹائرمنٹ لی اور جب تک بورڈ کے سربراہ اعجاز بٹ رخصت نہ ہوئے اور انہیں ٹیم میں واپس نہیں بلایا گیا، تب تک وہ ہمہ وقت اخبارات و ٹیلی وژن چینلوں کی خبروں کی زینت بنے رہے۔ اس معاملے نے ان کے سیاسی اثرورسوخ کا اندازہ لگانے کا pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
