Fashion Feature : Bright Young Thing, Mahgul for Nasreen Shaikh
From the Blog siddysays Nothing excites me more than Pret a Porter! So when Nasreen Sheikh, the Veteran designer announced her Ready to Wear line 'Mahgul for Nasreen Sheikh' it almost immediately clicked. Nasreen herself has now been a class couturier for over 2 decades and her granddaughter Mahgul's debut collection appears after 6 years of apprenticeship at the design house! Mahgul's collection is all set to be showcased in the emerging designers category. The 'Archive' Collection draws inspiration from old photographs and weaves them into modern wearable pieces. What we do know of the collection right now is that it is Monochromatic (Spot on Trend!!). Mahgul herself is a fine artist so I'm dying to see how she translates that into her clothes.
