NAB suspended probe in rental power case
From the Blog paknews [image: chairman NAB Fasih Bukhri]Admiral (Retd) Fasih Bukhari, the National Accountability (NAB) chairman, has said that the investigation in the Rental Power Case will remain suspended until the conclusion of mysterious death of Kamran Faisal, an officer who was the part of the team investigating the Rental Power Projects (RPPs) scam case. According to a statement released by NAB in wee hours of Tuesday, Chairman NAB said the arms training will be provided to the investigation officers for their protection. He said in case any officer faces threats, the bureau will provide safety to him adding the investigation officer will be separated upon his request. I can still remember when my professor at University of West of England asked me "Rai why your country and mine always love to be in the news for not so good reason and put us in a situation where we are not able to explain it". That professor was from Iran, another troubled place.
