The story, "Ada-e-Sarfaroshi" is part of the currently airing drama series "Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay" that is based on real accounts of people who have sacrificed their lives for Pakistan and have shown exemplary resilience in the face of terrorism during 2009. 'Ada-e-Sarfaroshi' is the story of a common man attaining heroic heights when going got tough. Hawaldar Naeem Asghar embraced Shahadat after fearlessly killing number of militants along with their commander in Adeen, Mingora. His successful operation at the area point 2207.2 made possible for the Pak Army to have a secure access route till Bahrain town in the valley. This telefilm is written by Sajjad Saji and directed by Kashif Nisar. Prominent cast includes Kamran Mujahid, Sofia Mirza and Rasheed Ali. Drama series 'Faseel-e-Jaan Se Aagay' is a humble endeavour to pay homage to the courageous people of Pakistan and its armed forces whose resilience and sacrifices have turned the tide of extremism and militancy in most of the troubled areas of Pakistan. Annie Khalid announces Faisal Khan as New Manager in Press Conference
From the Blog PakiUM.com | Pakistani Underground Music: Annie Khalid announces Faisal Khan as New Manager in Press Conference - Princess of pop, Annie Khalid, held a press conference in Lahore on the 1 st of February 2011, to announce the change of her management. She said that she will no longer be working with, Raaj Simon and named Faisal Khan, who already manages the band Roxen, as her new manager. The press conference took place in the press club in Lahore. Major channels and news agencies covered the press conference. Besides the change of management, Annie's new album "Kiya Yehi Pyaar Hai," her future projects and collaborations and her British debut single "Be My Baby" with Judge Jules were also the highlight of the day. Raaj had been working with Annie since 2006. They achieved a lot of success together and strengthened the artist's career in Pakistan. Commenting on the management changes Annie said, "Raaj and I spent good five years together. The decision to change management came about as a natural progression in order to further my career not only nationally but internationally as well." Praising Raaj on his work and on the decision to change the management Khalid Saleem said, "Its just a move forward. The time we spent with Raaj was really good. He was a very competent manager but its human nature to move ahead. With AK Management we can progress even further and concentrate on Annie's career even more." Annie started her music career in 2006 and today with her hard work and dedication she has gained numerous awards and recognition on local and international levels. She is working on various projects to achieve even greater heights along with her new management in the future.
