Just A Few Stones and Pebbles

From the Blog Speak Your Mind!!!: Just A Few Stones and Pebbles - Last night I read about this news about a man from Pakistan who has been looking for his missing sons from 2009. This man, Fazlur Rehman is from Haripur district and he has filed a petition in the court asking authorities to release two of his sons. He does not even know where they are and if they are alive or not. He said that two of his sons were picked by officials when their house was raided in November 2009. The officials also asked him to bring his third son to  the station. Apparently, by the next day the third son was also picked up by unknown men and one of his sons who were previously arrested returned home. Since then, the father has been asking the authorities to return his sons. He was allowed to meet them once when he was blindfolded and taken to an undisclosed location because he asked various parties to help him. But never heard of them or their whereabouts from anyone. According to the father, there is no criminal case registered against his sons and so their detention is illegal. It can’t be really said why his sons were targeted and if they were involved in some big plan. The updates on the net or most publications have just copy pasted the father’s petition. I couldn’t find any information on what did the sons actually do or are they some sort of terrorists. It is not this particular case, but the sad part is people go on missing as if they are some stones and pebbles without an identity and presence. Boys, girls and children -they all go through the same shit depending on their circumstances and luck. I don’t think anything will be done in this regard as well. We have now accepted the hopelessness of our society. I wonder how many other places like our country exist world wide where we talk so much about humanity and good things and in reality everything is so fucked up really. . Read Full PostComments

His condition was so bad that he came out of his L.A. home in a stretcher and was loaded into the ambulance. He was having very severe abdominal pain due to which he was rushed to the hospital. Charlie Sheen , who is quite well known for his mis-conduct over the years has spent a major chunk of his life in rehabs to get rid of his addiction. He parties hard and is often surrounded by controversies. Earlier in Jan, he was spotted heavily drinking vodka in Las Vegas hotel.  In October 2010, he was admitted for a psychiatric evaluation when he was  throwing furniture and yelling in his hotel room at  The Plaza Hotel in New York. He was drunk in that particular incident as well. On Christmas Day in 2009, he assaulted his wife Brooke Mueller Sheen when they were having a fight and she asked him for a divorce. He was sentenced to 30 days in a rehabilitation center, 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management.  He had a very bitter divorce episode with his ex-wife Denise Richards as well. In 1996 he was charged for attacking his girlfriend. In 1998, his father, actor Martin Sheen, turned him in for violating his parole after a cocaine overdose sent him to the hospital.
