Fun Photos on FB

You know some people upload all kinds of pics & then we get sms, calls or messages in our inbox to check out those albums. You don't have to be curious enough. I guess it just happens. And I have never been able to understand as to why people upload such intimate photos as display pics & they even allow everyone to click & see the pic in totality. Which generates emails & the never-ending gossip sessions see no end for at least 2 days. Can you actually blame those who go on talking & talking for sometime? For God's sake, we are humans, not angels! There are times when you don't have access, but people love sharing such things on mails. So if you have a habit of putting such pics on FB, keep in mind that your pics might be circulating. You cannot trust your friends or colleagues. Both male & females are into this thing. I'm telling you from my personal experience. It's amusing but the lives of some people do not move ahead till they put albums on FB. Sometimes I do feel sorry as some people only believe in jeering at them & at the same time, they leave nice comments. As much as I hate to admit it, even I keep an eye on 2 people, but they are not in my circle. And yes I do not know why it is always 2 rather than just one. But in a way, we all are curious to some extent. . Read Full Post
The check-bounce problem in Pakistan
From the Blog to me, writing software is fun !: The check-bounce problem in Pakistan - The check bounce means, when someone given you a check of amount X, but when you submitted it into your bank account, after 2 days the bankers calls you and say “your check is back, there is no enough balance in the account of the person or company”. The check-bounce problem is very common in small and medium business community of Pakistan. Although there exist legislation, that the person can go to police and complaint the check is bounced. But it is not done normally, because its mean you will be spending more money (“after all you need the time of a government employee and not a public servant”) and will possibly have bad relation with the person who given you that check. You have no choice but call that person again, and say “sir, your check is back, please deposit some money also in it”. This is so ridiculous and miserable state for you to manage. In fact I personally think, such people have no sense of business and it represent their general attitude to life. Even these people don’t bother to apologize you. In fact they use it as a tool to trick you and think they are very smart. There are very few problems in Pakistan which are great barrier for the young educated guys to enter into business. In business school we study 1+1=2 and “you made a sale and got X amount”, etc. This science badly failed in Pakistan commercial market. By education I do not mean a degree of MBA but only guys with good skills, knowledge and character. If its not there, one is JAHIL no matter he has an MBA from HBS. Why we have made our own life so difficult. My dear readers, let start this change from ourselves and make promise that whenever we will give a check to someone, making sure that enough amount exist is our responsibility, before issuing check. Coming back to those, we can’t educate these people “because they think, they are more educated and better know how to do business”. Taking the law in-hand is again very bad and unlawful act. So what are the solutions: 1. Should we just finish our business relations with such persons … again doesn’t seems good. 2. Should we become like them, submit check again, bounced, submit again … it will clear after all. Do you think this a way for the educated ones. 3. Should we treat them more badly, when such time come, … to teach them the lesson tactically. What else do you think …. we can do …. . Read Full Post
