From the Blog SAWJ Blogs…: When The Cold Winds Smash Against The Heights Of Beghairti… - Finally Karachiites can breathe a sigh of relief, for the long awaited cold winds have arrived to give us goosebumps and make our teeth go t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t… My first encounter with these winds was tonight, when I went with Danish to the airport. When we got out of the car, we literally peed in our pants due to the cold. Danish whipped off his shawl from the backseat while I had to make do with a thin t-shirt. And he still felt cold. I was shivering by the time we reached the terminal and then I had a great idea. Getting coffee! Danish liked the idea. So much that he ignored my pleas of getting coffee from the nearby shop to avoid the cold and going to MacDonald's across the chilly parking areas for the coffee. Asshole! We went inside. And we decided what to order. He ordered a cappuccino. Hot coffee. The perfect thing to keep yourself warm in such weather. I mean, that would be a sane choice right? Sane? For those of you, who don't know me…err…sane and I don't get along too well together. I ordered the complete opposite: a fucking frozen milkshake! And then we got out of MacDonald's and I finished it off in the cold, chilly parking lot. You see, there is a theory to fight the cold: make yourself warm, inside and outside. I, have a different theory: Make yourself colder than the cold, then you won't feel cold anymore. And just for the record, I already had a cold and sore throat to begin with. Fuck yeah, baby! LHC Rejects Petition to Ban Wikileaks in Pakistan
From the Blog Telecom News Bulletin: LHC Rejects Petition to Ban Wikileaks in Pakistan - Lahore High court has rejected the petition to block the access to wikileaks website. The petition was filed by Arif Gondal and it was heard in the respected court of Mr. Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed. The court appeal mentioned that this website was leaking the secret information which could have a deteriorating effect on the foreign relations of Pakistan and in general could create chaos in the public. However, the court decided not to put a ban on the said website because according to the court decision wikileaks is operational in more than 170 countries and hence it is not possible to put a ban on its operations.
