Sometimes I lash out with a loud "Leave me alone!" but the only person who I said that to is quite thick headed and didn't really listen to me, choosing to laugh at my outburst instead. Yes, I think that makes me feel tired too, trying to avoid that person as much as I can. Bollywood Revenue in Sharp Decline: Down 12% in 2016

Put simply, Qawwali - the subcontinental variant of the traditional Sufi practice of Samaa - consists of the sayings and utterances of the Saints, set to music. The Qawwali repertoire has expanded over time to include Ghazal, Kafi, Classical bandishes and folk epics in almost all the languages of the Indo-Persian region. However, a very specific subset of the repertoire consists of compositions known as Qauls. Some scholars, and most Qawwals, consider these Qauls to be remnants of the very earliest style of Sub-continental Qawwali, originated by Hz Amir Khusrau (RA). Project Semicolon Day

From the Blog iamzeeshanToday, 16 April, happens to be the Project Semicolon Day. Project Semicolon is a mental health initiative which was started by Amy Bleuel. Amy, after fighting hard, passed away on 23rd March. Project Semicolon has been something that has been with me for a while now. I got introduced to it a few years ago, thanks to Tania, an old friend, and since then it has only given my strength. My struggle with mental health, and my support to the mental health warriors has only found new strengths since then, and it continues to grow. Because of Amy, a simple punctuation mark has become a symbol of hope, and the determination to continue the story no matter what. It was indeed utterly saddening to hear about Amy's passing. The landless of Kabir Panhwar and nearby villages can either work on the farms of the rich or, if they are free-spirited, can be wood cutters. The remarkable Laalan Khatoon used to be among the latter.
