ورلڈ ٹی ٹوئنٹی 2020ء، میزبان شہروں کا اعلان ہوگیا
From the Blog cricnama ٹی ٹوئنٹی کی دنیا کا سب سے بڑا ٹورنامنٹ 'ورلڈ ٹی ٹوئنٹی' اب 2020ء میں کھیلا جائے گا اور میزبانی کرے گا آسٹریلیا، پہلی بار! یہی نہیں بلکہ مردوں اور عورتوں کے ٹورنامنٹس مکمل طور پر الگ کھیلے جائیں گے۔ پہلے عورتوں کے مقابلے 21 فروری سے 8 مارچ تک ہوں گے، جبکہ مردوں کا ٹورنامنٹ 18 اکتوبر سے 15 نومبر تک کھیلا جائے گا۔ دونوں ٹورنامنٹس کے فائنل تاریخی میلبرن کرکٹ گراؤنڈ (ایم سی جی) میں ہوں گے ۔ جہاں 1992ء اور 2015ء کے ورلڈ کپ فائنل بھی ہو چکے ہیں بلکہ سب سے زیادہ تماشائیوں کا عالمی ریکارڈ بھی بنا ہے۔ آئی سی سی کے مطابق ورلڈ ٹی ٹوئنٹی 2020ء کے مقابلے میلبرن کے علاوہ سڈنی، ایڈیلیڈ، پرتھ، برسبین، گیلونگ اور ہوبارٹ میں ہوں گے۔ سڈنی اور ایڈیلیڈ سیمی فائنل کی میزبانی کریں گے جبکہ پرتھ کا نیا اسٹیڈیم اہم مقابلے کی میزبانی سے محروم رہے گا ۔ اس سے پہلے ورلڈ ٹی ٹوئنٹی ہر دو سال بعد کھیلا جاتاpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
SCO and PTA's License Debate Picks up Heat in NA Committee Meeting
From the Blog propakistani The military-run Special Communication Organization (SCO) on Wednesday clarified that it would neither be able to pay back the $46 million borrowed from the Exim Bank for fiber optic cable, nor monitor the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project if not granted the Long Distance International (LDI) license to operate across the country. At present, SCO is restricted to operate only in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJ&K) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and has applied for LDI license to enhance its operations across the country. However, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication is against the grant of LDI license claiming it is against the agreement with Etisalat and fears huge penalty in case the latter goes to the court for arbitration.
