From the Blog jafar-haledilہمارا گھر گلی میں داخل ہوکے بائیں ہاتھ پر تیسرا تھا۔ بائیں ہاتھ پر آٹھواں گھر، بابا حاجی کا تھا۔ ان کے اصل نام کا تو ہمیں کبھی علم نہ ہوسکا لیکن سب لوگ انہیں بابا حاجی کے نام سے ہی جانتے تھے۔ باریش، گُٹھا ہوا سر، تہہ بند اور کُرتا۔ کندھے پر سفید رنگ کا صافہ جو گرمی میں سر پر بندھا ہوتا تھا۔ شیخ برادری سے ان کا تعلق تھا۔ زوجہ وفات پاچکی تھیں اور وہ اپنے بڑے بیٹے اور بہو کے ساتھ رہتے تھے۔ شیخ اور سیاستدان کبھی ریٹائر نہیں ہوتے۔ مرتے دم تک اپنے کام سے لگے رہتے ہیں۔ یہ بھی اپنے بیٹے کے ساتھ کپڑے کی دکان پر جاتے تھے ۔ شام کو جلد واپس آجاتے تھے۔ ان کا مستقل ٹھکانہ ، ان کے گھر کے باہر والا تھڑا تھا ۔ شام کو اکثر وہیں پائے جاتے ، جہاں ان کے ساتھ ان کے ہم عمر بزرگ شہری بھی محفل جمایا کرتے تھے۔ بابا حاجی ، ہمارے بزرگوں کی اس روایت پر سختی سے کاربند تھے جس کے مطابق عمر بڑھنے کے ساتھ ساpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
