Hummus
From the Blog bakerscanvasHello again. Back yet again after a long break. I haven't been cooking much for a while. But I have tried a couple of cake/ cookie in a mug recipes. Frankly I am not much fond of these microwaved cakes or cookies. They lack flavor. It might be a good quick fix for the sweet tooth, but I would prefer the traditional oven baked cakes and cookies any day. They are worth the extra effort. In other news, I have been to a session on "The Image of the Female journalist" hosted at the Residence of US Consul General. This is something I would be discussing in more detail on my personal blog. Back to my Greek lunch, the dip in the picture is Hummus, which is a traditional Mediterranean dip and works well with crunchy vegetables and pita bread. From the Blog cricnama پاکستانی میڈیا تو پہلے سے ہی مادر پدر آزاد ہے جو خود پر تنقید برداشت نہیں کرتا بلکہ ٹی وی چینلز اپنے خلاف بولنے والے کو جب تک ننگا نہ کردیں اس وقت تک انہیں یقین نہیں آتا اور وہ بے شرم ہوکر کسی کا بھی "کارٹون" بنا کر اپنے "پرائم ٹائم" میں چلا دیتے ہیں۔ ٹی وی چینلز کی اس ڈھٹائی کو پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ نے بھی اپنالیا ہے جو اپنے خلاف بولنے والوں کا تمسخر اڑانے سے بھی دریغ نہیں کررہا۔قومی ٹیم کے ہیڈ کوچ کی تقرری کے حوالے سے سابق ٹیسٹ کرکٹر محسن خان نے شور مچایا اور اس سارے عمل کو ڈرامہ قرار دیا تو پی سی بی کے میڈیا ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے جواباً محسن خان کا تمسخر اڑاتے ہوئے یہ ٹویٹ جاری کی کہ پی سی بی نے محسن خان کی سفارش قبول نہیں کی اور ان کے الزامات "انگور کھٹے ہیں" کی مثال کے مترادف ہیں۔ Mohsin Khan is a case of sour grapes because his sifarish for job was not entertained. — PCB Official (@pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
