A masterpiece by Roman Polanski, it spins a terrifying yarn about an innocent woman being made a pawn in a devilish plot to conceive and bear you know who's child. The woman who is the victim of this diabolical scheme is named Rosemary, and thus the title of the film. The film is exceptionally well made and one of the message it conveys so disturbingly is that truly evil things can be borne unwittingly by innocent victims. What is currently going on in Pakistani politics is both disturbing and frightening at the same time.
