Pakistan Has Opened Part of its Airspace for Flights: Indian Media
From the Blog propakistani Indian media is reporting that Pakistan has partially opened its airspace for west-bound Indian flights. A leading Indian daily, Times of India, has quoted a source from Mumbai air traffic control saying that 1 out of 11 airways was opened for west-bound Indian flights on Thursday. Last night, Pakistan opened up airway 'P518' for west-bound flights, not all airlines have started using the routes though. The source said that the opened airspace goes over the south of Pakistan which has cut the travel time by minutes, adding that Airlines like Air India and Turkish Airways have begun using this route over Pakistan, saving both time and fuel.
