Sindh Bars Private Schools from Selling 'Overpriced' Uniforms & Stationery
From the Blog propakistani The Sindh Education and Literacy Department has stopped private schools from selling uniforms, stationery, notebooks, and other related products to the students at exorbitant prices. The Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions – a subordinate department of the Sindh Education department – issued a circular to all private schools across the province in this regard. The notification declared selling of overpriced stationery, course books, notebooks, and uniforms illegal. The circular restricts students and parents from purchasing these products from schools and asked them to report to them if any school forces them to do so.
