India takes into custody the 'spy pigeon' from Pakistan
From the Blog firewithin-jhb In a bizarre allegation of cross border spying, India media reports that a spy pigeon from Pakistan has been taken into 'custody' and investigations are under way. The 'spy pigeon' landed on a house in the border village of Pathankot in the Indian Punjab. The pigeon was taken to a veterinary hospital in Pathankot for an X-ray. However the examination did not find any adverse or spying gadget attached to the pigeon. However, for further investigations, the bird has been taken into 'custody' said Pathankot senior superintendent of police (SSP) Rakesh Kaushal. The Times of India reports that the avian 'intruder' bore a stamped message and had a wire-like object on its body made the security agencies take a closer look at its flight into India.
