Pakistan must aim for Taliban ideology, not just heads
From the Blog mehmalThe December 16 Taliban attack is the worst terrorist attack in the history of Pakistan. Shahzad Iqbal, a journalist who reached Peshawar some hours after the attack, said to me there is extreme depression in the city. “You need a lot of strength and guts to visit the injured and I feel very weak to do that,” said Iqbal. When even professional journalists find it hard to report this horror, it shows that the scale of the tragedy is immeasurable. The Taliban have a mission and they are hell-bent on achieving it. Earlier, Pakistani markets, religious processions and Hazara settlements have been targeted, killings hundreds. But the barbarity of […]pakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
I Sold a Farm
From the Blog blog Let’s start from the start. By God’s Grace, I started the farm as part of an extension for a bigger operation, and I wrote an article on the blog, sharing all the details about the dairy farm, reasons for starting it and the common pitfalls I encountered. A lot of people found that article helpful (that article has more than 500 comments!). You know how I researched for months before starting the dairy farm, right? Me and my friend traveled thousands of kilometers – yes, thousands – within a week, all across Punjab, in search of *teachers* and *mentors* in the field of dairy farming. I was lucky to find them, and learn from them, for they were willing to teach. *From the start*, I was told that dairy farming is not for the “urban dweller”. I was told that I needed to be at thpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
