A Mosque for all Seasons
From the Blog sonyarehman *By Sonya Rehman* Endearingly referred to as a “mole on the cheek of Lahore,” the glorious Wazir Khan Mosque, situated in the heart of the city, dates back to the 1600s. Established during the Mughal era by Hakim Shaikh Ilm-ud-din Ansari (also known as ‘Wazir Khan’), who was the Governor of Lahore, and also a close aide of the Emperor Shah Jehan, at the time. It’s a stunning mosque that one ever tires of photographing. Whether or not one is a native of Lahore, or a visitor, when the light is right, just as the pigeons take flight from the minarets, that postcard-perfect, albeit typical, picture is snapped. Spots of Avengers 2 Shooting: Gangnam Style
From the Blog sarahinsouthkorea Traffic in Seoul's Gangnam area came to halt due to the filming of the sequel to the Hollywood box office hit "The Avengers", on Sunday. I saw it first from Gangnam Subway Station exit 7 t and then from exit 10. Huge number of security was there and one scene was shot for about 10 times and probably more but I left. Intersection close to Kyobo Tower was full of fans both Korean fans and foreigners. I saw the actor Chris Evans talking to the director , right across from exit 10. Photos later.
